NEW EDUCATION technologies will be showcased by F&J De Jesus Inc. at the Philippine Academic Book Fair on July 5-7, at the Megatradehall 1, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
Now on its 20th year, the annual Philippine Academic Book Fair gathers publishers, importers and booksellers to offer the latest academic books, magazines, journals and educational references from notable publishers all over the world.
F&J De Jesus Inc. is known for its e-products, non-print educational materials and resources, as well as e-media solutions for schools, among them, online digital titles, reference e-books, e-textbooks, educational videos and programs, and school management systems.
Among those to be featured at the Academic Book Fair is GVRL, an e-reference program with a catalogue of titles from more than 100 publishers covering the most studied subject areas; i-Ready, an online adaptive diagnostic and targeted instruction program for Reading and Mathematics; Science A-Z, a digital collection program with multi-level Science books, lessons, activities, and experiments, and Aims, an online school management system that addresses and assesses various school IT standard requirements.
With the digitalization and globalization of education systems, coupled with massive educational reforms, importers and distributors like F&J become more important than ever before to close technological gaps in the country by introducing new and fresh educational technologies, especially for this year—the first year of Senior High School (SHS).
“The ABAP Book Fair will offer the reference materials that educators and schools need in order to teach at the different strands of education of the new senior high school curriculum—this is the first time in the history of education in the Philippines that the schools will need these reference materials—these materials are specialized to adhere to these strands,” said De Jesus.
With the theme “Booksellers and Educators: A Partnership for Sustainable Education in a Global Environment Amidst Educational Reform,” the event will host exciting talks and seminars about the latest trends and issues in education.
The Philippine Academic Book Fair will also be filled with numerous discounts and promos from its exhibitors and publishers—attendees will have the chance to avail these promos throughout the 3-day book fair.
